uCAD Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the uCAD mobile app (package com.ucad.mobile), provided by UI Soft Bilişim ("we"), handles your personal data. Our general privacy policy applies to the UI Soft Bilişim website and other services.

1. Controller

2. What data we process

  • Your drawing files: DWG and DXF files are opened and processed on your device. We do not upload your files to our servers.
  • Account: uCAD has no account, username or password. You do not register with our servers.
  • Location: Only if you turn on the "My location" feature, the device location permission is used to show your position on the drawing. Location is processed on your device and is not sent to us.
  • On-device records: The recent files list, your preferences and a local cache of your subscription status are kept on your device. They are deleted when you uninstall the app.

3. Map basemaps (third parties)

When you turn on a basemap, the app downloads map tiles for the visible area from third-party providers (Esri, OpenStreetMap, OpenTopoMap). By the nature of such requests, these providers can see your IP address and the requested map area. We do not receive this data. The providers' own privacy policies apply. If you keep the basemap off, these requests are not made.

4. Subscriptions and payments

The uCAD Pro subscription is purchased through Google Play. We do not see or store your card or payment details. Google Play only tells the app whether your subscription is active. The Google Privacy Policy applies to payments and related data processing.

5. Advertising and analytics

The app shows no ads and contains no third-party SDK for advertising or for analyzing user behavior.

6. Children

uCAD is not directed to children under 13.

7. Your rights

Under applicable law (including Turkish KVKK Law No. 6698 and, where relevant, the GDPR) you may ask whether we process your data and request correction or deletion. Because the app does not collect data that identifies you, most requests concern data on your own device. Write to info@uisoft.tech for any request.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is published on this page and the date above changes.
